Virtual Meetings, Webinars, and Video Presentations on Aging

Hi Blog Readers, below is a list of resources including virtual meetings and webinars on aging.  This list was compiled by gerontologist Dr. Harry “Rick” Moody.  Each month, the Creative Longevity and Wisdom Program at Fielding Graduate University publishes a newsletter of brief and timely announcements related to humanistic gerontology.  Dr. Moody is the editor of the newsletter and I am passing some of them along to my readers.

Click the link below for an interview with Dr. Moody about aging with the focus on the positive aspects of growing older. My friend and colleague has a pragmatic and practical approach to ageism, research, “silver industries,” and misconceptions of aging. Although this is several years old, the message is timeless!

In this time of pandemic, many previously
scheduled events have been cancelled or postponed, so it is important
to check in advance.  Events in digital format may be held as scheduled,
but checking is advisable.
