Online Memory Screening

According to the Alzheimer’s Foundation of America, “A memory screening is a simple and safe ‘healthy brain check-up’ that assesses memory and other thinking skills. It is not used to diagnose any particular illness and does not replace consultation with a physician or other clinician.”

I have conducted hundreds of memory screenings in community and clinical settings.  Typically, older adults are concerned about not remembering names, misplacing items, or memory slip-ups. Do you know that losing keys, forgetting names, and being embarrassed about it are normal at any age? Slowed recall is normal aging and cognitive slowing is not the same as memory LOSS. The memories are stored in the brain and with age, it takes longer to get the information out verbally.

I recommend taking a FREE online memory test to from the Alzheimer’s Foundation of America. It is confidential and you will not be contacted. Check it out! AgeDoc
